Who introduced you to this field and the hardships you face to reach this level?
Actually, I am self-introduced to this field. I mean I myself struggled to get into this field. Like everybody does, I too had a weighed down in the beginning.

Tell us about your career and how it all started?
I was and still am a composer. An urge for singing was always there but was expressing the feelings in form of music. These feelings actually led me to sing.

So, is it easy for the new singers?
Nowadays, new faces are evolving rapidly which is of course good news to the music industry. But what I have seen is that they release numbers of song which if goes down they never try to build up again.
So, the main point here, which I wanna stress to all the new artist is, they should never give up that easily. There is always a second chance, improvise and see it go well next time around.

Tell us about your childhood?
I’d say nothing special. It was common like every little boy in the city. I guessed I lived my childhood like everyone did.

Who supported you initially?
Well I claim to be a self made artist and reached this level today. I had no extra help or supports in the initial stage of my career. I struggled hard to get in this field. But yes I do acknowledge help from my friends. With out them, I would have been lost.

Were your parents supportive in the initial stage of your career?
Well I’d say No to that. In the beginning, I had no support from my parents in fact they told me and tried to convince me by telling what’s there in music? Just kick the thing out and give interest in studies and suggested me to think of another career. But, what can I do when I had made up my mind. I just went ahead with it. Now they realize I wasn’t that bad.

My dream work or as you say my dream project would be a solo concerts of me as having a solo concert is not a child play.

Do you survive the pressures of fame?
Well yes and a no. I would not take it as a pressure but at the same time its good to hide your self from the mass once in a while. It’s a good feeling to have caring fans around me and I do my level best to communicate with them. For example, when I have phone calls I gladly receive it and when busy ask them to call later. In times of hiding myself, I tie a handkerchief around my neck and cover my face so I could be anyone.

What do you think is the best about the music you play?
I am glad that people have taken pop music in a positive way. I believe music is the rhythm of feelings, which everyone likes to love some how or the other.

Please never take music in the tarnished way. Love the music. Music doesn’t spoil anyone it’s just the interest of one to be involved to entertain oneself and the other.

What do you think about the music’s state in Nepal?
Okay, talking about the music industry here in Nepal, right now it’s pretty good and improving day by day. People do well with the degrees of doctorate & engineering and those are the entire career building things that we dream of while we were a kid. But what the main fact here, which I want to stress, is that even the musician can do well too, probably even more in the future.
