  Childhood
I was a shy kid and didn't have many friends. I was very close to my mom. I had lots of dream on what to become when I grow up. I dreamed of becoming a pilot and also an actor in the big screen. The acting part came out good. I started taking acting classes when I was in states but I enjoyed being the creator more than just an actor or a director, acting is just not my thing.

  First feature and its continuity?
Well I have been here for only 6 months. So there is no question of me being featured. I decided to do it myself. I have not done modeling at least not in Nepal. I entered some contests that's all. When I was in America I did it in Boston for designers. When I was asked to do it I felt special. When I said I was going to join the Man Hunt Contest everyone was laughing but they didn't laugh after I won. Once I was serious about it they supported me.

  Education
I studied in Kant Iswari School then went to Darjeeling and studied at St. Joseph's. I got bullied a lot. Then I went to Mussorie Then one year in B.I.T. Messra. After that to Boston. I am an average student. I don't like to work hard.

General view about the fashion industry and the modeling scene in Nepal?
There is a lot of exploitation going on. The organizers take away the money of the contest. The models don't get well paid and the girls are exploited. Future is good but for that I guess good people should come forward to make it better.

  5 years down the line?
I am not for seeing this as a career. I took it up as a hobby. I am working as a project manager. I also work in Kantipur T. V. I host two programmes. I guess I will make couple of men's magazines. I will be successful and be a good model.

  For young wannabe models
Do you think this profession is lucrative and what would you like to tell the parents of such wannabe's?
No. At least not in Nepal. In foreign countries yes. To the parents make sure the children have some alternative career because they are not going to make money by modeling in Nepal. May be after 10 years down the line but not now.
Describe a perfect model?

Self confident appealing and sense of style and well spoken.
In Nepal's context, what are the ways by which the fashion industry can thrive?
There are no creative designers. They just copy. For my Man hunt contest I wanted to wear something in Nepali design but I could not find it. We have to work on our resources.
