Wednesday, 12th October 2011 -Once again its time for All Play No Work for all the corporates of Nepal and come together for the annual Soaltee Crowne Plaza Super Sixes Cricket Tournament, to be held from 16-22 October 2011. This year the tournament promises to offer a unique, action-packed, fun-filled game over a period of seven days to celebrate the popular sport of cricket and engage in a friendly yet competitive bout of games to vie for the coveted Soaltee Crowne Plaza Super Sixes title. This year Twenty Eight leading Corporate Cricket Teams across Nepal will battle it out for the coveted 13th Soaltee Crowne Plaza Super Sixes 2011 title.

The tournament kicks off on October 16 at the Tribhuvan University Ground where the corporate giants will play their game. With the theme of “All Play No Work” the game targets to give the participants a break from their usual office work and break some records at the ground. The game has become an annual event where every one from the various sectors of corporate Nepal looks forward to participate and win the title of the most prestigious tournament of the nation.

“Due to the overwhelming response and to accommodate the participation request of various corporate houses in Nepal, this year we have decided to increase the number of participating team. The idea behind the new format is to bring maximum corporate houses together at one platform to celebrate the spirit of Cricket, keeping intact the essence and excitement of the six a side tournament. Due to overwhelming response, this year we have increased the number of participating teams to Twenty Eight and the format of the game has been revised accordingly. All 28 teams have been divided into 7 groups of 4 teams each where each team in a group will play with each other in the league round. Top 2 teams from the group out of 4 teams, will go into Pre Quarter Final round and 2 Teams will qualify according to their run rate from rest of the 14 teams. Out of 16 teams, the 8 teams will be playing in quarter finals followed by 4 teams in Semi Final and the top 2 teams will be competing in Final.
